End of the PC Show
Wilson posted at 11:30 PM

Today is my 8th consecutive working day, thanks to the PC Show. Basically the whole office is stoning today due to fatigue and my productivity has hit a new low since I started intern. And in the late afternoon, I find it extremely hard to keep awake and dozed off occasionally, but at least it's over.

My first time and possibly my last time working at a computer fair. What excites me is not so much of working during the show, but seeing my brochures being distributed at the fair. Total of 40,000 copies printed and distributed during the show which means that around 40,000 people had seen my work, even though most of the brochures probably ended up on the floor or chunked aside within seconds of reading. Nevertheless, it's still my greatest achievement in the design area so far as someone like me can actually produce a brochure for fujitsu which is circulated on such a scale. And i did receive some compliments for the ease of reading for the brochures which made me quite relieved. The remaining brochures that I will be designing for Asiapac will probably be on a smaller scale, but I'll put in my best to build up my design portfolio!

Brochures apart, I have been assigned runner for the four days of the PC Show. Other than the first day when I'm still not too clear of what to do and working with a particular someone is rather annoying, the rest of the days are rather okay as most of the time I'm releasing the items to the customers only. Being trained in customer service in Starhub, it's quite a breeze for me to do the job. Of course my throat was quite chui for all four days, otherwise it would have been an even better experience for me. And after the IT show, I've known even more people in the company now and they are all nice people =).

On path
Wilson posted at 11:30 PM

Everything seems to be on path for my internship now. Got a bunch of fun and entertaining colleagues which makes office hours pass so easily. Design-wise I'm getting still working hard on it especially in terms of my colour combi and if possible I will also like to pick up photoshop to improve the quality of my posters too.

This week gotta be super busy with PC show starting this Thursday, so having a seven-days work week this week. The only good thing is that I need not stay in the office =)
