This semester has been fairly slow for me, and at this point of time I am just starting on or going to start on some of my projects. Especially for IEA, presentation is next week but we are only starting after this friday. Although I have all the zai yr4s in my group, the short time frame to complete the project seems to be testing the limit for my composure. Well, the best thing for me to do is to trust my teammates.
Went for LTM interview today. Prof Kong liked my write-out but I have to admit I did rather badly for my interview. Comparing to my internship interview, I will say that LTM interview is much harder. Firstly I seems to be a misconception on what LTM is all about and underestimated what is expected for a LTM TA. During the interview she stated down her expectations and the desired outcome, which is to allow the TA to discover himself and make a change to others' life, rather intimidating at first. Her style is completely different from Prof Rani's and I supposed many TAs would have flunked if they took under Prof Kong instead. I guess it will be a nice challenge to have. Hopefully my below average interview and the fact that I'm moving on to year 3 will not put me in a too big disadvantage.
I am beginning to love marketing after starting my project, which is decided this week to be POKKA BLOOD ORANGE JUICE. There's so much to find out about a product and they can be found anywhere with an hands on approach. Like going to shop n save, NTUC and cold storage to compare the price of the juice and its competitors, which I feel is so much fun compared to reading financial reports. Now I'm more or less convinced that I made the right choice to change my major to marketing from finance. Cheers, with blood orange.
