So many stuff to blog about but so little time. Surprisingly, this is only week one of school as a year 2 and I'm so busy, even when I am having a three day week. Not that I'm mugging, but somehow time just passes without me noticing. For now, just a short recap of my school life in this post.
My week started on Tuesday afternoon with my Management of People at Work class. Not a proper lesson as the prof introduced about herself, the syllabus and she gave us some time for interaction between the class. Not exactly my favourite type of prof as she seems rather closed-minded regarding the type of project and even the presentation style. Now it seems like I'm being closed minded about her but my gut feeling seldom fails me, but oh well, I'll try to accept her and see how after tml's lesson.
Two lessons on Wednesday starting with Intelligent Organisation in the morning. Did not know a single person in the class and I guess I'm the only year 2 in the cls with the rest all year 3 and year 4. As the title suggest, I suppose you need a high level of intelligence to understand the class and I'm not there yet. Was contemplating about dropping the course after the class and my mind was made up when I took out the worksheet the prof distributed and read the lecture outline. It's just not the course for me.
Had Management Science in the afternoon by a boring prof. So boring that Lewis dropped the course and left the class halfway through. I decided to stay on though since I thought it's just a mugging subject and with the textbook and some hard work it should be fine. And my group should be doing well with LiangJun in my group.
Another two lessons on Thursday, starting with Management Accounting in the morning by a Korean prof. He's the best prof I'm having for the semester so far, being very funny and easy to understand.
My week ended with a Finance class which I'm quite serious about as that's going to be my major. Therefore I kept my laptop and went to class with hardcopy notes so I can pay full attention. Even as the prof was completely monotonous, the subject itself could keep my interest and had a good share of class participation with my background in finance and the rest of the class was simply not interested in the lesson.
After dropping the Intelligent Organisation, I bidded for the Probability Theory class which will start tml morning. Do not think there will be any people I know in the half filled class but at least I know the assignment can be done as I manage to finish last week's assignment without attending the lecture. Just concerned that the exams fall on the same day as MA. Got to decide again after tml's lecture ba, after all I'm quite active in the BOSS bidding system.
