Longing for a Simple life
Wilson posted at 9:20 PM

Watched the match between Singapore and Uzbekistan at the national stadium last night. A bad night for the lions as they lost 4-7 to Uzbekistan. A very big crowd there so we only manage to get into the stadium around 10mins after kick-off. It was already 1-0 to Uzbekistan when I entered the stadium. Very entertaining match with plenty of goals and it was already 5-2 at half time. The Singapore defence is atrocious and I can't believe Lionel Lewis is the keeper. The plan to attack backfired and I'll rather see them play a ten man defence like the previous matches I've seen and depend on counter attack. After the match, it seems like we can forget about Goal 2010 but good job for coming so far, though quite sad that most of the players in the team now are foreign talents. Most prob should still be supporting them in their next match against Saudi Arabia.

And just some updates on life after submitting the MAS-ESS essay. Maybe I have push back all my tasks because of the competition so even submitting the essay, I still find myself with plenty of stuff to do. Archery has more or less taken up most of my time. With the NUS open and the SAFRA competition both coming up this month, training intensity got to increase again. Other than two weekends, got to train during weekdays to avoid flopping during NUS and increase chance of winning in SAFRA.

Also received my 3rd SMS reminder for me to book my IPPT. Haiz. SBJ confirm chui again, and so hard to find time to train for it. Still gotta train for passion run coming up this Sunday. Hmm.. isn't this the holidays? Something is wrong. I just long for a simple life now, not worrying about competitions, GPA, IPPT or stock price.
