Ratatouille is scheduled to launch only on 30th but the sneak preview starts today, therefore watched it first hand today with Wilson, SM and Zongxiang. Much before the movie was launched, the trailer of the movie had already caused quite anticipation and thankfully the movie did not disappoint me. No doubt that the rat is cute and a unique story line as the trailer shows. However it’s the plot of the story and the emotions it bring out during the movie which makes it a movie definitely worth watching. In fact I was quite touched towards the end of the movie. That’s all for the review as I do not want to reveal any spoilers as most people have not gotten to watch the movie yet.
Later on went to shop a while at Funan to find a laptop case but did not manage to find the slightly more high-profile type which I wanted. Ended the shopping trip prematurely to go home because relatives are coming to celebrate my 21st Birthday. Earlier in the year thought one’s 21st birthday is a super important event but as the time goes by nearer to date got a bit lazy for a big celebration. But since today’s celebration is fully sponsored by my parents and it’s a good opportunity for everyone to get together. So why not?
In the evening my relatives gathered in my house’s function room for a catered buffet dinner. It’s a night of eating and chatting. It happened that Grace just entered university this year and Johnathon was in his final year of uni so three of us sort of began our mini-uni talk for the whole evening. After that we began the photo taking and cake cutting. Went for quite a number of birthday celebrations this year but it’s a whole new feeling being the centre of attention yourself, which I was not quite used to. Took quite a number of photos till my cheeks began to ache due to all the smiles. The fact that my camera is extremely unstable during the night did not help at all. During most of the occasions the photo had to be taken at least twice as the image will blur off with the slightest movement. Nevertheless, everything still went on smoothly.

Overall was very happy with this celebration that my parents had planned for me, not forgetting the presents that I received during the night. A watch, wallet, shirt, vouchers and cash were what I got. Looking forward for more celebrations during the upcoming days.
